I am hoping I eat these words, but should they bench Judge?   At some point it is demoralizing to the rest of the team every time their best hitter fails.  Put someone in there you expect to strikeout.
There really is no one on their bench. Except for Jasson. And they won't let him bat righty if at all
But at least you would expect the person to strike out and it wouldn’t drag everyone else’s spirit down.
    He's still your best option.

I get it. I just gotta think him striking out every time is deflating the rest of the team’s energy unlike a .200 hitter striking out.  Same result except he might actually get a hit unlike Judge.  MVP but if he were a quarterback he would be pulled.

I expect Rizzo to get hit by pitch or not get on base.  It doesn’t bother me if he strikes out.

Should have Rizzo bat 5th. Tomorrow they just need to go with Dominguez. To hell with defense. It hasn't helped them this far.

Would be great if Cole did a CC and started on short rest

Maybe reach over the wall and interfere with the field of play before starting a fight in the stands with some dodgers fans while they’re at it?

Not getting Dominguez some at bats this postseason will make it harder for them to start him tomorrow.

The thing about Cole possibly starting tomorrow is that he was "spent" after throwing 88 pitches. So how is he going to bounce back after 3 days?

I wonder who they were going to have throw out the first pitch for Game 5. Guess we'll never know

Be honest. A part of you is hoping for a sweep so hope would spring eternal that they fire Boone and New York's long lost mustachioed prodigal son would come home to manage his old team...as long of a shot as that is. I'm not wrong, am I?!

There's no chance. As long as Cashman is the GM. They'll probably hire the quitter manager from the Marlins Schumaker. Or some high school coach that never played. Unless Hal overrides him. But Hal is in the same thinking as Brian

And that would mean the Dodgers will win. And Roberts is worse.

If only Hal can pull a George and instead of O'Neill throwing out the first pitch. Paul Olden announces "and throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. And your manager for the 2025 season. DON MATTINGLY. The crowd will go wild.

They might. But all that money that's coming off the books after this season. Add another $36 million. But they most likely will if he decides to opt out. And I don't know what pitchers will be available that are comparable. And we definitely don't have anyone coming up.
