Pretty massive win. Looked like they were going to lose their first series in a while and 3 out of 4, instead it’s 7-2 in 9 games against Tampa and Toronto.

    Big series coming up

called that game as a win minutes before Trevino homered, said something along the lines in a text with a friend, the Yankees will get this within the half hour.

Nice. I wasn't feeling too great after DJLM left the bases loaded in the 6th of 7th, but yeah, good win.

This team is doing what the previous Yankees did, wait on pitches and draw walks.  That is something I always remembered, their patience at the plate and how they wore down pitching.

    They look really good.

This series will be fun to watch. Yankees are so damn loaded & Houston's offense needs to show up.

Yordan is hitting isn't he?  Once Bregs, Kyle and Altuve get the cobwebs out you'll be fine.

Yordan is mashing. The others have been up & down except for Brantley who always seems to get on base.

Yordan, Trout and Judge are my early favorites for MVP right now.

    Yup. There are zero excuses.

That game was a blast to watch even though my team didn't get the W. It had a playoff vibe, which is always fun to see.

Didn't realize until watching the replay of the ninth, Pressly's career ERA against the Yankees is over 5.

Yup. When Dusty put him in instead of Stanek I immediately thought "yup...they're in trouble."

I had a feeling when we won on Thursday the way they did. That these next few games were going to suck.

Did the Astros sell their souls or something? They're like republicans. Nothing bad happens to them. When are they going to get their comeuppance

Assume this has never happened two games in a row in the history of baseball?

I don't think. Just back to back starts by the same pitcher. Luckily we won't find out

The split seems a little disappointing given how they came in, but they just went 9-4 over 13 games with Tampa, Toronto and Houston.  Seems pretty good.
