I’m alive and well. Went down to the shore to look at places and just got home and settled. Much better day than that slop apparently. 84 pitches lol.
18-18 over last 36. Starting to think this isn’t the year. Said a while back in this thread last year and this year are rebuilding and they see what they have and go for it next year. Just so happened they were 27 outs from the World Series in the first year. This team is definitely going to need some help in the offseason. MLB.com ranked the farm 10 today which is absolute insane considering everyone on the big league roster. Things are looking up, but this is bad.
It ain’t over but it’s been a baaaad stretch
Where down the shore? I grew up next to Avon and Bradley Beach.
But here’s the thing. The Yankees are in the playoffs and get healthier. Playoffs are going to be nuts. Tanaka is a nasty nasty nasty pitcher. He goes 3 in a 7 game series and does a mid relief stint. Scary.

Not a lock for the playoffs the way they are playing. Most likely, but there's a lot of ball left.

They’re plus 3 for the wild card and have a favorable schedule here on out, plus play 6 more against the Sox. This series is bulletin board material.

Yeah, it's hard to predict how a fairly young team will respond sometimes. They definitely showed something last year. I'm still not convinced letting Girardi go was the right thing to do. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Plenty of time to get back on track and healthy. They’ll be playing in the play in game which is a crapshoot but obviously what they did last year.
Overall, yeah, they’re positioned great. Lot of young really good players, a top 10 farm and all the money in the world being under the luxury tax this year. That said, I wonder what a potential disappointing end to this season, coupled with a Red Sox World Series, could do to the yanks in free agency. Wonder if they’ll go hard for machado and make andujar expendable. Patrick Corbin might as well already be a yankee.
Gonna be a good stretch. Hopefully they can get back on track starting tonight against the shit ass White Sox
Their schedule until visiting Oakland-Seattle in September is this 3 at Chicago, 4 vs. Texas, 1 vs. the Mets, 3 vs. the Rays, 3 vs. the Jays, 2 at Miami, 4 at Orioles, 3 vs. White Sox, 4 vs. Tigers. If they played under .500 in those games or less than 20-10 I'd be concerned.
