AROd is all over ESPN today. This is his last year with the Yankees. No doubt in my mind.
If so... The Yankees are going to be paying most of his salary. Who would take him on at this point?

If the Yankees take on most of his salary what team wouldn't take him?

It's the Yankees fault for signing this ridiculous $272 million contract and a no trade clause so you reap what you so. Sadly he will be back with the Yankees next year now will finish his career there, I don't think so at all.

If you had put that kind of money in front of me I would have what Arod did sign that sucker.

He was my favourite player as a kid (being from Seattle). Great player, gets a lot of flak for doing what we all would.

It's pretty unreal. Not a word about Cano, Swisher, Granderson or anyone else in the damn lineup that isn't hitting. It is always the case with Arod but it is just too bad, because he is/was so god damn good at baseball and so much fun to watch hit.

Not to mention the guy rushed back from a broken hand to get in the lineup with no rehab at bats. Now he is getting all the shit in the world.

I seriously doubt ARod will be back witht he Yankees next season. Some bridges can not be mended and this is one in my opinion. The media is relentlessly feeding on him, he's been pinch hit for, he's been benched. If anything he should WANT to be out of NY as much as the team wants him gone. Let's face it. He didn't even originally want to be with the Yankees. This is a marriage that probably should have never happened but it did, and the team is going to pay big time for the divorce.

Swisher gets booed, cries like a little bitch and people get mad at him for one day.

Arod has won multiple MVPs and carried this team to a world series title and he gets benched, says nothing wrong, tosses a ball to a girl and everyone is trying to run him out of town.

    It's fucking pathetic.

I agree that he should want to leave after all this nonsense. Dude loves New York though.

And I'd say, dude may have wanted to go to Boston because that looked like the most likely landing spot, but that dude loves New York and loves wearing the pinstripes. Dude cares about his legacy and he is one of the greatest players of a generation and wearing pinstripes. That means something to him.

If nobody wnats to accept the terms of a pending divorce...he'll be back in this Yankee house quicker than you can say Amen. Except for the post season he's been a good player during the season but you do become great when it counts in the months of October.

ARod's playoff stats while with the Yankees.

What it comes down to is performance and he just hasn't performed. He had a good run in the 09 playoffs and that's it. He's never really been a crowd favorite and just always seems uncomfortable. Take out 2009 and ARod has 4 post season HR's. Also his last post season HR ws in 2009. :fp: Take out 2009 and he has a total of 15 RBI's.

His playoff stats with the team

    2004 ALDS .421 1HR 3RBI
    2004 ALCS .258 2HR 5RBI
    2005 ALDS .133 0HR 0RBI
    2006 ALDS .071 0HR 0RBI
    2007 ALDS .267 1HR 1RBI
    2009 ALDS .455 2HR 6RBI
    2009 ALCS .429 3HR 6RBI
    2009 WS .250 1HR 6RBI
    2010 ALDS .273 0HR 1RBI
    2010 ALCS .190 0HR 2RBI
    2011 ALDS .111 0HR 3RBI
    2012 ALDS .125 0HR 0RBI
    2012 ALCS .143 0HR 0RBI

this is pretty sad, when you look at it all together,
his failure isnt quite as shocking. With or without A-Rod,
I hope CC and thre Yanks can bring it on home,..

Yankees have an elimination playoff game in less than three hours and yankees fans are making fun of Arod. ONLY Yankees fans.
