A star is born.....he should win something.

  • He is rookie of the year, right? Has to be.

Precedent is Willie McCovey in 1959 and he had 12 or 13 home runs in 50 something games. I'd think he gets a significant amount if he doesn't win in it.

  • I think he will win it. He kept the Yanks in contention by himself.
Fulmer has 1 win in the 2nd half with an ERA of 4.00.
    No outstanding rookie this year.
I do think Alex Bregman will end up being the best player.
Edwin Diaz also had a very nice year for the M's.

If only he didn't lose his spot to Romine in spring training

I am fine with it. He got more experience and the Yanks get an extra year of service time.

Not terribly familiar with Bregman but some bonkers minors numbers.

The thing about Sanchez is, is that he is now a good catcher with a very good arm. He could potentially be a big league catcher if he couldn't hit.

for 70 years? Might get it as there aren't many good pitchers who are free agents at the end of the season

How was Happ not thrown out of the game? We've had our own pitchers thrown out for just coming close.

why would happ get thrown out? ... there was no warning issued ... headley got hit in the butt ... with nobody out ... that's as legit as a payback pitch as there is ...

elbow is a lot closer to the head than the butt ...

i won't argue about whether they are nerds tho ... except for martin ... he's probably the only bad ass on the team ...

Like I've said we've had pitchers on our team thrown out without a warning in the past. Or at times get warned before we had the opportunity to retaliate.
