The Pineda/Montero trade is looking more like a bad deal for both teams
Nonsense. Pineda will be fine. He's still very young and it's his 2nd full season of his career.
So is Montero. But I'm talking so far.
Montero is a completely mystery. He can't break a bad Seattle team
I think once they took out of the catcher's position. There's not really a place to put him. The guy who they said was better couldn't bat over .200. They're sticking him in at first but he's not athletic where his glove would keep him in the game even if he's in a slump.
Could the Yankees lose the division lead and the Wild Card lead after having what would seem comfortable leads?
yes and no.
If I had known then what I know now...

Didn't think I would be a fan of having a subway series this late, but this weekend should be all kinds of awesome. Just too bad the NL East isn't closer.

Arod can apparently run
Who is wrong and who’s right
That's the most excitement I've seen in dugout all year, by far.

Tanaka with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, incurred while running the bases Friday. Yankees hope he misses one start.
