    They have analytics people. They come up with every scenario. Give Boone the best possible options. The best at how I can describe how it works. I'm sure he has some say in game. But more than likely to coddle the players. Reason Girardi wasn't brought back

    the whole hal, cashman, boone thing is incestuous.

    I know the expectations are ridiculous but I think I read their payroll has been top 2 for the past 28 years and #1 in 24 of those years. all kinds of managers (mattingly?) could do as well or better than boone.
    If I had known then what I know now...

    I'm seeing so many Yankees fans wanting to sign Kyle Tucker. And his numbers are not that much different than Cody's.  And you can probably get Cody for cheaper. They're saying Tucker might get over $40 million? Not with those numbers

    totally agree. someone is gonna overpay for tucker….and bellinger likely leaves your yankees.

    No love lost between Jeets and Cash, that's for sure.

    YES let go of Flash, Nellie, and Dave Valle. Flash was there for 20 years. I liked them, but O'Neill, Cone, and Girardi are fine. Girardi's actually great, IMO.

    There were a few times Flaherty in the postgame studio and critical of them after losses, perhaps too much for the Yankees liking since they seem defensive at times in recent years.
