Yankees pick Al Leiter's son in the 20th round. He was supposed to be a 1st round pick but said he wouldn't sign and might go to Vanderbilt. Last time the Yankees picked a player that went to college was Gerrit Cole

Yeah, he did say he was going to Vandy and told teams, basically, not to Draft him.

It doesn't look likely they'll be able to sign him, because you know he'd want First Round Slot money. Can teams do that with a 20th Round Pick?

I saw him pitch last year in the NJ State Finals. He was terrific, but lost 1-0. Run scored when his catcher tried to pick a runner off 3rd and over threw the ball over the 3rd baseman's head down the left field line. His HS team was SUPPOSE to play the State Final today but they Postponed the game until tomorrow. I was going today but can't make it tomorrow.
