May 12, 2018 New York Times had a small random fact I thought I share with you Yankees fans.

The Yankees have won the World Series every 29 years, on the 8s, for a while now: they beat the Milwaukee Braves in 1958, the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1978 and the San Diego Padres in 1998.  Do we keep that streak alive in 2018???

In my opinion,  not until we add another stud pitcher to go along with Severino.
Sorry won the series every 20 years not 29.

They will add another pitcher. I'd be surprised if they didn't, though i'm not sure it will be a stud or not. They do have the assets to get a stud. Have to see what's out ther.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. Not getting Cole is gonna be a huge mistake. I didn’t want them to give up much, but going back I’d give up Frazier plus for Cole. They could have easily beaten the Astros offer

How the hell is the 98 team 20 years ago?!  damn it's cliche but time really does fly.

Talking before last season. After they sold 2 years ago, everyone thought they’d see what they have with prospects over the next couple seasons and go crazy in this upcoming free agent class to fill out a team and make a run. Little did we know they’d hit the prospect jackpot

excellent win last night.  I had no clue that the royals have the 2nd worst record in baseball only slightly ahead of the white sox and baltimore.

yea. usually the starter is already out of the game by the time the hitter comes back to the plate.
