This song is so, so powerfull! I wonder if we can consider No More as an Anthem for peace to 20th century as much as "Imagine" was for 19th century... :)

No More is good, and it is very powerful. Simple but powerful!

Don't listen to anybody else, if it does something to you in the same way that Imagine does, well it is an anthem for peace for our generation.

if it does something for him then it is a song for his lifetime not our generation. Everybody has heard Imagine. It is one of the biggest songs by arguably the most influential singers ever. Not taking anything away from Eddie (cause he has one that is up there with Alive) but No More is an ok song.

This guy obviously thinks the song means something for our generation...The fact that you think it is OK song and that John Lennon is one of the most influential singers ever, really does not change a thing.

Wasn't 'Imagine' an anthem for the 20th century, and No More would be for the 21st century?

I`ve never really liked "Imagine", but that song means something to almost everybody.. I doubt that "No More" will get that status. That being said, I think that "No More" is a brilliant song, with powerful lyrics.
Glad I heard it live last year in London

Taking away the political background of each song and analyzing them, Imagine is a great tune. No More on the other hand is pretty bad. I love most of Ed's solo stuff, but that is one of the worst songs (in my humble opinion) that he has produced.

I'm usually not into posting my negativity on this board, but since I'm on a roll, I have one other complaint about an Ed solo . . . Hard Sun is a great song, but I wish he didn't repeat the chorus on the outro 2,000 times.

ANYWAY, with a birdy looming, I'm going to give No More and the end of Hard Sun a karmic pass today. Don't want to see the Midwest get spurned on acount of my behalf!!!

I hear President Rutherford B. Hayes thought Imagine was the shiz-nit.
