  • Really? i thought audience recordings were free to share? My bad, i honestly had no idea :
  • While a kind gesture, you may want to reconsider.

I think only for shows that are not for sale or are not going to be for sale- like the pre 2000 shows, etc.

They used to be able to be shared before PJ got the Green Disease. I mean really, it is idiotic to think that people won't buy the official bootleg if they grab an audience recording first.

I have the audience recordings from the msg shows last year and I think they are better than the offical ones. Anything that isn't for sale your're free to trade. Putting up links to 08 and 09 is not allowed. That seems like it be common sense.

I believe audience recordings are OK.... if they are being traded even-for other boots that arent the official boots still available for sale.

    Linking/sharing boots is not OK.

    To clarify...

There's a huge difference between recording the show on your personal recorder and listening to it at home as opposed to putting it on the internet for world-wide distribution. The first scenario is what the band intended when they allowed recording of their shows. The second scenario is not ok...they care too much about their music and how it sounds...it's the sound...that's what it's about...and, of course, they're going to release them first with good sound.

Thank you for removing the link(s). The boots are coming (in my best Paul Revere voice).
