Your favorite rarity from the Philly 4???

They played a lot of songs that have not been played a lot in recent years...and a few that have never been done at all (they even sound checked other side but never played it :cry::cry: )


For me.....it's an easy choice....HOLD ON!!!!

I LOVE THAT SONG, and it was never, ever, ever played before Friday night!!!!

When i heard them start into it i almost shit myself! I looked around me and it seemed that not too many people knew this song!!! I was going crazy!....sang along loud as fuck too!!

thanks for that one PJ/Ed....that one song made the trip to Philly worth it...never mind all the other awesome shit you dropped on us!!

    haha. I was close to making the trip down to Au. Next time I guarantee. Its always been a dream of mine to visit. These shows are gonna be awesome. The guys got all those 'rarities' ready for the Spectrum. Wouldnt be surprised if you guys see some of them in the Southern Hemisphere.

    Kinda like how Leash came out and was played awhile.




    As far as my favorite rarity? Depends on what you mean by rarity. Id have to say Bugs maybe because I never thought it would be possible. Then you see the accordian and it was like WTF???!!

    I agree 100%. Hold On is my favorite song and was my complete long shot going into the Philly 4. I went completely INSANE as soon as they started playing the first couple notes!!!

    It wont officially sink it that I saw them play it until I listen to the bootleg :D ...at which point ill go nuts all over again! :lol:

    I've got to admit, even though it took Ed twice to get through it, seeing Bugs played live was freakin sweet! But now that I think about it, Its hard for me to pick less than half their set list, so, i'll just stick with Bugs!

    I listened to most of Bugs in Australia via phone.....thanks my2hands.....and Spin the Black Circle and Porch! So I was kinda there! 8-)

    Sweet Lew was wellll, sweet. I was more mezmerized by Eddie's dribbling and the distance he got throwing the basketball at the end.

    I know its not philly 4 but Pushe Me Pull Me sounded awesome. I love how he sang the chorus differently.

    Yea, that was cool. I'm not a big fan of the album version of that song but it seriously rocked on night2. My favorite rarity was Out of My Mind though...

    I was only there for the last show, so for me it's Bugs ! I've always loved that, my GF never really liked it, but always got a kick out of how much I loved it. When they played it I went ape shit !! I think she now has a new respect for it too !!

    but my overall fav of the night, and its not an extreme rarity is Crown of Thorns. I have wanted to hear/see this since I first heard the Vegas 2000 boot.

    I damn near cried when they played it, my GF was rubbing my back the entire time because she knew I was about to lose my shit, and weep like a teenage girl !

    I love this band, I love this fan club, and I love most of this bands fan's.
