...To the 10 Club - for great seats each of the 4 nights at the Spectrum. Some people might not like being on the floor, but getting showered by confetti and balloons on Night 4 was worth it. Being on the sides on the other nights were perfect seats for me, outside of winning the lottery.
...To Gary - for buying my extra ticket on night 1 and being a great guy to hang out with for the night. Now that I know you basically work down the hall from me, we should try to do this again.
...To Ryan - for driving from Toronto to see the shows and buying my extra night 2 ticket. It was nice to meet you and I hope you had a great time in Philadelphia.
...To Beth - who ended up next to me after making a seat trade with Ryan on night 2. It was an absolute pleasure being next to you for that show.
...To Eric - for just being an all around nice guy. I've seen you at shows in the past, and it was a pleasure to formally meet you and talk to you while waiting to get in or while listening to the soundchecks each day. If you plan on coming back up this way and are looking for a ticket, let me know. I'd be more than happy to split tickets with you. Also, BIG thanks for the Night 2 & 3 setlist copies you gave me. I beyond appreciate your generosity.
...To all the other fans around me in sections 225, 215, and 107, and those I interacted with while waiting to get inside. Thank you for really enjoying the shows and for the most part giving me my space and allowing me to enjoy the shows as well. Special thanks to the guy dressed up like the mime on Halloween. You were right next to me for 2 shows, and 3 people down from me for another. I didn't catch your name, but having a fan like you next to me is always a positive.
...To Comcast-Spectacor - for allowing Pearl Jam to close out the Spectrum. I feel the shows would not have been the same had there been more concerts to follow, and you could have easily gone with a Philly band, or Burce, to close down the arena instead.
...To Pearl Jam - for 4 amazing shows. You didn't get through the entire catalogue, and I would have loved to hear Oceans, Sleight of Hand, Indifference, and a few others, but instead you gave me Hold On, Sweet Lew, Bugs, Out Of My Mind, Pilate.... and many other I never would have expected. To me, those 4 shows were the perfect way to close the building.
I don't know if any of these people will read this, but if you do, thank you. You all helped enhance my experience over the 4 days. I'm sorry if I got any names wrong, my memory is a little foggy sometimes.
