    i actually have 2 ideas.

the 1st one is : "sure i am dead but it could be worse, i could be a Toronto maple Leaf fan"

the 2nd one is : "Hey ladies all my bones are stiff"

  • nothing....not having one. cremation and ashes tossed. leaving this place as i came in; no remnants. hope the only mark in leave is in hearts and memory...

    off she goes...

i'm trying to figure out a way to go without costing anyone a dime. Even cremation costs quite a bit (money is energy) and they use a lot of gas.

I guess when it comes to that time I'll find a bonfire somewhere that is burning extremely hot and jump in.

You can donate your body to a medical school. That's what my dad did. Basically the bodies get assigned to a couple students with a task at hand. In my dad's case I think they broke his hip and then the students learned how to replace it. After the body serves its purpose, they cremate the body and give the family the ashes. Didn't cost us a cent. Plus, the medical school throws a service every year for the family members of those who had a relative donate their body.

I'm in. I have no need to be buried with a (unconscious?) false hope of being resurrected. I wonder if they take reservations for next week?

Oh the wonderful infinite and peaceful slumber... how you tempt me.

People laugh at me because more important to me is where I am laid out. In the city where I was raised they have 2 funeral homes. Well, one of them is on a main street and has a marquee in the front with the names of who is laid out at that time, It has the person's name, times to visit, and services time, if one chooses to have services there.
I want to be laid out there, with both my maiden name and married name. This city is a very small, close-knit community and I want people I know to know that I have died, Many people I went to school with or haven't seen in years will see my name and come to see my dead body! LOL!!
I live about 30 miles away from there now, but I look at that marquee when I drive through that city. Its the usual way many people from there find out who has passed away. I am the only one though, who has came right out and said why I want to be there, although all of us want to be there for the same reason. Others will not admit their vanity.
I also have told my kids to not sympathized with the people who have done me wrong. My kids know who they are and I don't want my kids to console them. I love the idea of them crying and feeling guilty!!
Yep, I have people in my life, or use to be in my life, who have been very shitty and they don't know I am still quite pissed. They would come to my funeral and say they are my friend, etc., but my kids know who and why I don't want some consoled.
    Yep, one sick mind here!

I'm a believer and I think once you get to the other side you won't feel like this anymore and maybe before you go you can try a little understanding even for the shitty people. It will free your soul long before you go.
