Now I certainly don't feel this way, but if I posted something to the effect of "I think Friday's show was a huge letdown because Bruce Springsteen didn't play Born to Run while standing on his head at 3:30am while Mike and Stone were going through the audience handing out keys to new BMW's" it doesn't mean I'm not grateful to have been at the show, it just means my opinion is different than yours.
I agree 100%, and this part made me really laugh. Thanks for the back-up I thought it would be a fun topic, not disrespectful at all.
I would have said Oceans, but since they didn't play any openers I guess that wasn't a surprise.
I will then say Black Red Yellow because they rehearsed it on two different days and it sounded awesome during soundcheck - would have loved to hear that Night 4 and was really expecting that it would be played.
the thread title probably could have been worded better...
now cue the complainers and the complainers of complainers and complainers of complaining complainers of other complainers....
Yeah - if it said "Which song not played did you want to hear most" it probably would help, but still you can tell the intent isn't to rip on the band or shows, but just curious what one song everyone was really wanting that wasn't played.
Release and Oceans. I thought they were gonna open with one of those on night 4.
Agreed

heh, people are EXTREMELY edgy around here about negative wording. the positivity police will attack your ass!

um,i'm sure i need not repeat myself...but i'm gonna anyway.....
other side!!!
that said, was i disappointed? HELL NO! fantastic, brilliant shows and it was so b/c pearl jam gave their ALL to us and they planned it out as they deemed the BEST to please the most fans. i am truly, truly appreciative and grateful.
also, i will be more than happy to see them break it out next time they are in NYC....those ' new york streets' are a-callin'!
I know I know, I shouldn't complain after being blown away for four shows, but this really isn't a complaint. But which song not played bummed you the most, considering they played about 90% of their catalog.
I would have to say missing Release was a downer, thoughts?
I really wanted to hear Oceans & sometimes, and release would have been cool

Soldier of Love was listed on the setlist for the 4th Philly concert but Ed decided to scrap it at the last moment. I think the majority of the crowd (including myself) would have loved hearing it live.

Yeah - I would have loved that over any one of the repeats, but I suppose everyone had their own wishes.
My wife was really hoping for Army Reserve (we haven't gotten that in what I think is now 19 post S/T concerts), and LBC. I was hoping for Oceans, BRY, Dirty Frank... so mine were obviously more unreasonable
After 52 shows I've never heard Oceans!!! I also thought Dirty Frank is a kind of Halloweeny song and hoped to hear it.
