Cool story about Eddie and Boys at Phils game

On my way in to work this morning I was listening to WIP, our local sports radio show in Philly and Angelo mentioned about Rhea Hughes (one of the people on the show) having an experience with a rock legend. They said this and said she would be telling the story around 8. I figured this might have to do with Pearl Jam. The story was that Rhea was invited to come visit a sportsbox during the Phils-Yanks game last night. She went down to visit and the guy who owned the box said, "Hey do you want to meet the guys from Pearl Jam. They're over there. I'm not sure if it was all of them or not. She said she looked over and there was Eddie Vedder and the guys from Pearl Jam watching the game with Ed in a Phils hat. She told the friends she was with who was there and their jaws dropped. He asked if she wanted to meet them but she said she didn't want to bother them. She said that she noticed that when the game was going on Ed was writing something down. She couldn't notice what it was until she looked closer and realized he was actually scoring the game with scoarcard and all. She also said that in between innings he was awesome with signing autographs and taking pictures. Angelo then mentioned that his daughter was at Saturdays show and that the show was phenomenal. I thought it was a pretty cool story. Now if only that damn Caveman Johnny Damon had struck out on that foul tip. Oh well, Go phils!!

    It sucks about the Yanks being up 3-1, but at least Damon is a PJ fan:

    Cool story, but just wondering if it is natural for a Philly fan not to be able to spell and use proper grammar?

    Touche on the spelling and grammar. I'm a teacher and if one of my students handed that in I'd be ashamed. That was pretty bad on my part. I can't help it though. I seriously feel like I'm dying. I went to the four shows and in between the Phils have been keeping me up at night. Not a bad thing. I woke up this morning and feel like my body used to after football games. My ribs hurt, my legs are aching, my voice is shot, and I need to eat a fruit or vegetable soon. My diet during these times has been horrible. However, sign me up to do it again next year.
