I was in Philly and never even had a chance to get a shirt. TShirts seem to be the new posters. So, please Ten Club, print up another batch of the sports themed shirts so everyone can get them!?!

Who is with me on this?

Thanks

  • Make shirts presale like posters for club members. Then whatever happens at the show happens. This ebaying off of the shit is not right. Or limit on how many 1 person can buy. 3 shirt limit?

If the rumors about a lawsuit are true, we'll unfortunately never see team t-shirts again...
I smile, but who am I kidding...

I have no proof, just my opinion, but I'd like to believe those phillies shirts were a big middle finger to whatever cease-and-desist order they may have gotten from MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL, etc. Maybe that's why there were no flyers/eagles/sixers shirts. Other theories?
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • that would be cool if they could pull them off but im sure MLB keeps a super tight grip on thier logos etc. Fuckers. BTW the Phillies logo shirt is going for 80 bucks on eBay right now. Wow.
Well, thats just like, your opinion man.
  • nevermind about 80 shit i just saw some in the range of 100-250.
Well, thats just like, your opinion man.
  • that philly shirt is going for outrageous amounts.

such a huge philly sports and pearl jam fan and the fact that i don't have it makes me so sad. i was actually thinking about it inbetween innings last night at the game.

i'm scared i'm going to get drunk and pay for one of them on ebay.

    SO YES PLEASE PRINT MORE!

  • Correct me if I am wrong but at the Chicago Concert didn't the shirts actually have the Cubs logo on the front (which could be a copyright violation if they didn't get permission from MLB or Cubs). The shirts in Phili didn't have a logo just "Pearl jam" in Philis style lettering on the front. I am not sure if this would be a violation or not.

I agree, I went to 3 shows, was there before the gates opened and still never had a chance at an XXL.

These shirts have people going crazy. It's absolutely ridiculous the 10C doesn't just print more shirts and institute a 1 shirt per person limit, but who in their right mind would pay $100+ for a goddamn t-shirt?! Shit, $35 at the merchandise booth is more than I can reasonably spend on a t-shirt. It would have to be a very special, rare occasion to buy a $35 t-shirt. For the life of me, I can't figure out what would possibly motivate someone to pay this kind of money on eBay. Just buy a different PJ shirt. Shit, Pearl Jam's fan base must either have lots of money or lots of debt. The amount of money people are willing to spend on memorabilia blows my mind. You got to enjoy the show, and that's what counts. I think the bootleg would be a much better expenditure than the t-shirt!

On a side note, I didn't even think the 10/31 Phillies-style shirt was nearly as cool as the other sports themed shirts.

I should have bought one as soon as I walked in on Halloween, but I couldn't decide between that and the wrecking ball one and by the time the show ended they were both gone. trying to get one on ebay though. Kicking myself for that stupid move instead I bought the poster which got ruined :x

  • I love the pre-sale option for the posters and was wondering if anyone else thinks expanding on that plan would work.

Would any 10Clubbers out there like the option of being able to Pre-Purchase a Ticket/Poster/T-shirt/Bootleg package when you are going to be attending a show.

I would love to be able to arrive at the show and not have to rush to the merch booth only to find out they are sold out of all T-shirts in my size.

Maybe give us a 10% discount for pre-purchasing all 3 (Poster/T-shirt/Bootleg) when you buy your 10club seats to the show....Or offer Free Shipping at regular retail price or something?

I know I would love to have a nice gift pack arrive on my porch a week or so after a show.
  • If anyone is interested, i had some shirts made up for this run. I couldn't sell them in the lot because there were a bunch of undercovers rolling around. The shirts are not like the ones PJ were selling but they do have PJ logo in the old Phillies logo on the front and Spectrum 09 on the back. I'm not looking for the insane prices some are looking for on Ebay. Any one interested please pm me.
