My ITS OKAY sign

I was really hoping Pearl Jam would play it. Ed, did give me a look during daughter then he kinda shrugged his shoulder like sorry, after that he did chant its ok a few times made me happy.....but not upset one bit. Night was something out of this world....

I did get a mike pic :)

    The guy next to me pointed you out to me, we were across from you and hes said he saw Ed point at your sign, so we were hopng for its ok. Then we got a little tease before another brick in the wall

    Not to beat a dead horse here but,he started singing it's ok and made a comment like last chance but i don't think he thought the crowd was loud enough to play it. i believe they were gonna play it but ditched it because ed was not feeling the engery of the crowd. Just my opinion if anyone remembers exactly what he said please do tell.

    It LOOKED to me like he ran to ricky ramone (hope i spelled that right) to ask for a guitar but one wasnt ready so he couldn't do it. He definitely ran over there but then came back and teased it a bit though.

    stone plays a different guitar on that tag than he plays on daughter, so if they were gonna do it they would have to have that guitar ready in the wings for the switch.

    Definitely saw your sign from the floor and saw Ed look over and acknowledge it. Very cool!I think if anything, they were going to try to accomodate but it didnt work out. I doubt it was a "this crowd doesnt deserve it due to lack of energy" type deal. Stone never played the riff, even when Ed was singining Its Ok, so my guess is that they just didnt plan on it. Especially if the guitar thing is accurate.

    I was 3rd row center and Ed did go over to see if they could get a guitar for Stone. I don't think they could get one ready quick enough.

    I saw ED walk to the side if the stage too. I thought the same thing that he was getting a guitar....maybe I didn't give enough notice......but then again I didn't think they were going to play DAUGHTER. I had the sign the night before but they didn't play daughter.

    fucking signs. they'll play whatever they want to play. if you're bringing a sign, maybe just hold it up between songs and not during one. it's fucking annoying man.

    Yeah, Stone plays a guitar with a special G-tuning for Daughter, which is good for the G major riff and the E minor ending. "It's OK" is in E major, I think, so Stone probably switches to a standard-tuned guitar whenever they go there. In any case, maybe if we pool a quarter each, we Ten Club members can buy Stone a double-necked guitar (two six-strings), so that the top can play "Daughter" and the bottom can be used for "It's OK." :lol:

    Yay! I saw your sign and it was at that very moment that the last bit of my voice left me... I completely lost it when Ed started teasing that... I still haven't fully got my voice back :D
