"Courtyard"
you in the morning tree
you were a flying bird
you sat for time that
stood still as the morning air
you watered my dry eyes
and you stayed just so high
then blew a breeze
and i knew that you'd soon fly
you in the morning tree
you were an angel
it's still so painful
to have seen you leave
for you seemed to me
to be in love with me
in a mourning tree
see the leaves mourn for me
you in the morning tree
you were a flying bird
you sat for time that
stood still as the morning air
you watered my dry eyes
and you stayed just so high
then blew a breeze
and i knew that you'd soon fly
you in the morning tree
you were an angel
it's still so painful
to have seen you leave
for you seemed to me
to be in love with me
in a mourning tree
see the leaves mourn for me

"Our Window"
The falling rain
I play along to it
and for you
I make something out of it
If you look into the sky
while the sun hides away
you'll see yourself flying
far far away... oh so far away
and for once with the birds
you'll laugh and you'll play
and when you do
and I know you will
you will know
I'm making nothing out of something
and if you never look away from the sky
you'll find holes up high
in colourful shades of grey
that you can make your own
for after you die
and if you happen to find
teardrops on tree tips
... and a leaf or two
against the big white
you may even cry
and for a moment
hold your breath
and forever
...close your eyes
and if you love the one hidden inside
you'll never again sleep
not even after you diePost edited by acrossssSsssshittt on0 -

thank you Mika, it's taken me a while to write something which feels positive... I'm not sure how good the words are, but at least I feel a little better ... and I'm happy that you do too: )0

Thank you for these, I too have been trying desperately to write something more positive,
I'm not having much luck. Some ideas, but right now they just seem like words on paper.
But these, these are really good.
Thank you my friend.

Godfather.
but I'm not doing good my friend... i'm young but I miss God already.. thank you for your words. they mean so much to me... you take care0 -
your poems are really beautiful. "Our Window" brought tears to my eyes, tears of happiness...how often does that happen!
I'm sorry to read that your not doing so good, cos your poem made me feel really good! Thankyou.Pepper- I am faith without religion, without bruised knees and pleas for forgiveness...0 -
thank you pepper... thank you so much...
I just wanna say that if ever my writing does anythin nice for anyone here, it's not me... if I am a half decent person at all it's only because of those around me... my friends, including of course you individuals here, my family, Pearl Jam and God...here, the one thing we all have in common is Pearl Jam, and let us please keep them in our deepest thoughts and in our hearts always, because I alone am just not enough and they deserve so much more than just my prayers and my love...I'm positive all of you here already feel this but I just had to say this, and if all this sounds worn out, I'm sorry...
I believe I've hurt one of the most beautiful persons I've ever known, and I think I'm paying for that right now as I ought to0 -

thank you ms. wes. for your appreciation as always.
There's just so much suffering in this world, emotional, mental and physical, and those suffering need to find some peace... this poem doesn't go anywhere near halfway towards satisfying that need, but I hope it's something0
