...this and New Years are the two holidays I cannot stand:

"Your costume looks so great....awesome idea"....repeat 200 times and that is Halloween party...staying in and passing out candy, watching the Orphan...much better.

but don't you have to say that to the kids at the door too???!!!!! 8-)
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream
Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
  • Halloween; I could do without.

But New Year's Eve has such a positive vibe to it. You get together with your core group of friends, have some drinks, share the best stories of the year, set your goals for the next year. Not sure what's not to like there.

  • My favorite thing about new years parties is seeing people break their new year resolutions 20 minutes after the ball drops. :D

We don't celebrate Halloween but I hate fancy dress parties. Too much fucking work. Can't we just all rock up in our own clothes and get drunk? Does there REALLY need to be that much thought and organisation just to go to a party? The only thing I want to be thinking about is what am I drinking or smoking and how am I getting home.

What the fuck? Enough with the fucking acronyms!!! Halloween is one fucking word and does not have an acronym, first off. And, your second uncommonly acronymed words look like New York.

Stop being so god damned lazy!!!

*Maybe that was a little harsh. I am sorry. It is just that the use of acronyms are getting extremely out of hand. We are not text messaging here. And when we start making acronyms for single words, well, that is just ridiculous.

I don't like New Years Eve parties. I prefer to go out for a good meal with some friends and cab it home before the drunks descend upon the streets with the police in pursuit. I typically do not see the ball drop.

Halloween? not so much parties but I like to go out. My costume doesn't change much. I might actually wear the dress, boots and corset but jeans and a tshirt look just as well with my face painted dead and my eyes white. Occasionally, I like to f with people and wear one white eye and one green but skip the zombie make-up. People are never sure if I truly look like that or if I'm f'ing with them. I had several people in Philly wondering this week. Pretty funny......
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

Thanks for the apology, I think.

Did you use the word "fuck" enough? Why not use another adjective to describe how stupid or lazy I am?
