    I missed the beginning, but towards the end he talked about how he is sometimes too cerebral in his song writing and that he thinks simpler is better. He explained that they tried to go simple for this record. He joked that an advantage of writing a simple song is that in 5 years, if it hasn't been played in a while, it's easy to remember.

    He said supersonic and amongst the waves were written specifically for backspacer. He talked a little bit more about the songwriting process but I missed it.
