Pre-Set?

So how early do you have to be in a show to hear the pre-set?
Out of the Blue and Into the Black................Uncle Neil Philly 08 here I come!!!!

    the time that it says on that ticket and not a minute later, or youll miss it.

    Does he do a pre-set for every show?

    wait.. I've never gone to a show.. what's a pre set.. some songs before the Opening act.. or before the rest of the bands comes out?

    really? looking on the setlists not that many list them. i think he does them every once in a while. my guess would be that if you're going to 3 or 4 shows you're bound to catch one though.

    2008: MSG 1, Hartford, Mansfield 2, Ed Solo NYC 1
    2009: London (O2), Philly 1, 2, 3, & 4
    2010: Hartford, Boston, MSG 1 & 2
    2011: Ed Solo Hartford
    2012: Philly (MIA Fest)
    2013: Worcester 2, Brooklyn 1 & 2, Hartford

    its not every show, but definitely get there early in case you get lucky
    its good to show support for the opener
    you never know who you might see rockin out side stage

    if tkt says 7, be in yr seat at 7

    Yeah, I would go in, but I'd come back out if the openers were shite and Ed didn't show up before the openers started.

    Of course, coming back out isn't really an option if the show was GA.

    I went to 4 PJ shows (2 in 2006 and 2 in 2007) and only had once an pre-set (not complaining...). This was in Copenhagen.
    2006: Antwerp, Paris
    2007: Copenhagen, Werchter
    2009: Rotterdam, London
    2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter
    2012: Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin
    2014: Amsterdam, Stockholm

    I've seen many pre-sets. They're magical. Just a small taste of what the west coasters are getting this month...
