So my thoughts . . .this being the last show ever . . . will people go crazy and start ripping the venue apart after the show? That would be pretty awesome. 8-)

  • Folks,

I realize that some of the comments on this thread were made in jest, and not to sound like a hard-ass, but this is NOT a joking matter. Bands like Guns n' Roses are forever identified with riots at their concerts -- do you really want this to be the case with Pearl Jam too? If some "fans" act like idiots and cause damage to the Spectrum, the band can (and probably will) be held liable in court, which is the exact opposite of everything true fans are supposed to stand for. I encourage anyone who is serious about this to "check yoself" before you wreck the band's reputation in this city.

Also, I seriously doubt the band will be very interested in catering to fans with things like this 4-night stand of concerts again if their reward for this good deed is to get dragged into court because of riot damage.

All good points. Taking something is one thing... rioting is different.

Okay, so maybe this post was made in bad taste . . .my apologies, and for the record . . .I hope there is no riot or destruction of any form after the 10/31 Pearl Jam show

but people should really try stealing the chairs

I thought G n R caused riots only in Vancouver ;) ...there was another band, too that caused a riot in Vancouver (at the Coliseum) where the chairs on the floor were all smashed and people were removing the actual bolted in seats in the stands :o ...AC/DC?

PJ doesn't seem to attract the crowd that will riot at the drop of a guitar pick....
