Paris hotel, any ideas?

Hey everyone, I am a longtime lurker who thought this might be a good time to jump in.
My wife and I are planning our 5th wedding anniv. for next year, and we are thinking of going to Paris and London on the trip. I know PJ has played over there quite a bit, so I was wondering if anyone on here travelled over there and had any hotel recommendations. We'd like something different but nice. I'm posting on here in the hopes someone found something off the beaten path. Thanks.

Just search Paris and click on hotels.
I definitely recommend tripadvisor... although if it gets a good rating, don't read the reviews... some people have bad personal stays, some people complain about anything and some people I'm sure just lie. Good luck though and I bet there are some lovely independant places in great locations that you can get reasonable deals for.
Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
Chicago 07? And love
What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

I used my Hilton Points and it was free. The location was great, rooms were very modern, great bathrooms, staff all spoke English and was very helpful. If we go back I'm definitely staying there again.
When looking at hotels in Paris be aware that some have shared bathrooms.
