So on the way home last night from the show , I get the munchies. I see a McDonalds sign on the highway, so pull over, gettting psyched to finish the night with a hamburger and some fries. Get to the window :

Me - Can I have a a hamburger and small fries please.

Attendant - says something somewhat inaudible about a late night menu, but i cant really understand him.

Me - Can I have a a hamburger and small fries please.

Attendant - You must order off the late night menu.

Me - Wondering what the heck the late night menu is , I say "This is McDonalds , right ?"

Attendant - Yes sir.

Me - But you dont have hamburgers ?????

Attendant - Right, no hamburgers.

Me - OK, have a night night as I drive away hamburgerless !!!

Looking out at the 1 gazillion hamburgers sold sign I thought I was on an episode of the Twilight Zone.

not to sound defensive or anything, but regardless of where it lies on the riveting-meter, that thread you're refering to was posted in the appropriate place.

Of all the things I'd eat after a great PJ show, esp if I had the munchies, MickyD would have to come last. I don't know how they have the hide to even refer to those crappypatties as burgers. But each to their own.

They did you a favour mate. :)
  • Late nite McDonalds menu in PA is lame. You have to order a full value meal and the options are limited. No regular hamburgers, cheesburgers or big macs!

I too stopped off at a mikey ds (exit 37 off of I-95) to be exact and had to pick off the bullshit night menu ..Im always SO hungry after a show and I only eat like ONE thing there..and they didn't have it on late night even though i KNOW those mother's had some mac sauce in there ..so i had to settle with some fries .and its pj related because it happened after a pj show, haters

You should have settled in for a Corona and some Samboy salt and vinegar chips......do they have them in the US? (the Samboy, not Corona obviously? ;) )

I would rather eat at McDonald's after the show than pay $12 for a hot dog.

what does that have to do with my post? i don't give a shit what anyone eats but after a show i'm usually thinking about how awesome it was over a cigarette.

but for the record stadium hotdogs and mcdonald's burgers are equally gross.....i do like their soft serve though

I've found that the quality of food/service of most fast food joints increases exponentially the further you get from a city's center.
