Anthony Clark says he was too embarrassed to report what happened to him to police until four weeks had passed. (CBC)Police in Langley, B.C., revealed Tuesday that they are hunting for a female suspect in a violent and bizarre attack on a young man.

The attack happened in early September when the victim, 22-year-old Anthony Clark, says he was walking on 200th Street in the Brookswood area of Langley.

A woman walked up to him and, without saying anything, kicked him with great force in the crotch, Clark said.

He was admitted to hospital after the attack and had to have a testicle surgically removed.

The recovery has been extremely painful, Clark told CBC News.

Too embarrassed to tell police
"Sleeping was incredibly painful," he said. "And even with the morphine and the Tylenol 3s, it had no effect whatsoever on that."

He was so embarrassed about the attack, Clark said, that he did not report it to police for four weeks.

Langley RCMP said they would like to speak to other victims, if there are any.

"If there has been other victims, we are urging them to come to the police station and report it so that maybe we can get a better idea and maybe fit all the pieces together," Const. Amanda McGowan said.

The assailant is described as being in her early 20s, about five feet seven inches tall and 130 pounds. She had brown hair.

    that sucks for that guy. this is nothing though. guys lose testicles due to injury all the time. in the self defense classes they teach at my gym they teach the women not to kick or punch the guy's junk, rather they teach the "grip n rip technique". that is where the woman grabs the attacker's junk (grip) and pulls it (rip) forcefully downward, which can cause serious damage to not only the testes and scrotum, but the penis as well. if you pull hard and fast enough it would require some serious surgery to reattach things. i know i would not want to be on the wrong end of that one....

    despite my age, hair colour and city matching the accused, the person is about 5 inches taller than me.

    it wouldn't be a big deal, except this woman or women have attacked several men so far, and it's all at random. it's bizarre.

    i was talking about the article in this thread, not society in general. everyone knows that violence against women is more prevalent, and it is just as inexcusable as the case in this thread. random violence against anyone regardless of gender is wrong.

    omg! I thought he got kicked in self defense! some crazy lady just walking up to him
    for no reason, well that's different. I hope they find her and he sues her.

    Many years ago, I was walking down a street in San Fran and a bicyclist was riding towards me. When he got next to me he slapped me across the face, without slowing down, and just kept riding. I then yelled at him and felt stupid because there was absolutely nothing I could do.
    In hindsight, I think its funny, but at the time it hurt.
    This guy will not have the pleasure of looking back and seeing humor in it, poor dude.

    ok, ok... probably I am wrong, but...
    maybe that's why we don't hear about these kind of things much... I am not sure... why this man didn't say anything about it?

    ok in my dark mind I continue my speculation that maybe first he attacted that woman, and she tried to defend herself. Maybe that's why he didn't say anything earlier?

    Of course, I can be wrong...

    Anyway - i'm sorry for him
