Alone in the wood this autumn day
I wish I had your hand to hold
The chill and the grey sky
Vibrant colors on the trees
Beauty surrounds me
All I want to do is cry
It's the letting go...
Thoughts haunt me
Wrong...so wrong was I...
Wake...wake from this nightmare...
With no you...I am so alone...
Even in a crowded room
With no you...I am so alone...

    oh... :(

    i felt like this once. hurt for a long, long time... intense for a year and a half? painful for two maybe? annoying for three. but then it was over, and it didn't hurt at all. and we're kind of friends now. and there's no remorse and no pining and no wishing and absolutely zero grudge

    makes me smile... how mendable hearts are

    and i learned a lot about how to love through it, too... no scar tissue... just a better human being... happier

    so, i'm grateful to my old half-lover-turned-maniacal-soul-murderer. bless his heart for clearing the way

    I took it down...sometimes I don't want the world to see my pain...it's funny you bring my attention to this poem ...because...it permeates my soul today...the truth hurts sometimes....

    I guess I see it as okay if she chooses to erase it. Some people just deal with things in a different way.

    myself, sometimes I will fill a whole notbook with poems, or just my thoughts all dealing with the same exact thing. when the notebook is full, I burn it. I have written and recorded songs before that I loved but then deleted the songs, and thrown away the lyrics and music.

    that works for me with some things. I see this as doing the same thing.

    maybe its sorta like EV never having ever written the lyrics down for Release. he said he will sing them in front of people, but writing them down so someone can read them whenever they wanted...., is just too much.

    thats fine.

    you just seem to be making it your personal mission to make sure she does not erase it with the quote.

    this board is here for us to express our feelings. if someone at a later time wants it gone that should be up to them I think. If they can't make it go away because someone quotes them just because they "have a feeling" that they know what is best for them.......

    well, that just does not seem right to me. ;)
