Halloween Tailgating in Light of SEPTA Strike

With the SEPTA strike looking more and more likely, my friend and I looking to figure out plans before the 10/31 show. In order to combat the major traffic jam that will be Philadelphia, we'll be coming into the city early during the day. If the subway is down we want to try and get to the stadium area early to avoid the traffic later in the afternoon. We want to hangout before the show, however we won't have a parking space to offer up for a tailgate.

Are other people planning on arriving earlier and tailgating at the stadiums if the public transit system is down? If so, what are your plans... anyone trying to get a bunch of people together if everyone brought their own refreshments? Just trying to figure out other plans.
