Anybody who was lucky enough to be at the show last night, how awesome was push me, pull me? only the fourth time ever played, the other three were in 1998.

    I have to say that I never thought that I would hear that song live ever, I couldn't believe it when it started. I liked how Eddie said this is one of the strangest songs we have written. This show is in my top 5 of all PJ shows without a doubt. I hope Fri night can top it(not going Sat).

    This song comes across shockingly well live (as does No Way). Add me to the list of people who figured it would never be played again.

    it was SO GOOD. So much energy in this version... Ed's added parts in the chorus were awesome, and that third verse is still killer - love Jeff's little bass line

    Uh, I hate to be the first here (anyone else?) but, I think the reason they don't play the song, is because it's really not that good. Just because something is rare, doesn't make it awesome and amazing. It sounds horrible and boring on the You Tube video. And I'm not just talking about the quality on there because, yes I know, of course, You Tube posted video sound is garbage. But, it just looked lame to me. Ed turning around in a circle I think looks to me like he's almost embarrassed at how bad performing it is. But, we all know Ed is smart enough to know to pop in a rarity in order to boost bootleg sales from all of us true blues (as well as of course, just doing it to please all of us). I don't really hate or dislike any of PJ's songs except maybe a few, and this one is barely so-so as an album filler...but, I just can't help to say that it seemed really uninspiring. It just doesn't have that "Oh yeah, I'm going to rock out to this one" quality like most of their songs do. And no, I'm not jealous in the least bit of any of these shows or setlists as I was lucky enough to get in LA 3, 4 and SD. Anybody else, think that this song just kind of blows?

    Hmm . . .I love the song, but not this live version. I feel like Eddie is too vocal with the lyrics. I think the power of the original was the frenetic feel of the background music, and the very relaxed vocals. These vocals just seem a bit too powerful to me....

    Ya the song isn't great and it was thrown in for the sake of playing a rarity but who cares? Those sets in Philly have been pretty good so far -- hard to live up to the hype leading up to the shows. Maybe this Saturday 2AM thing will put it over the top - lol.
