I've got every single album on my hard drive, but I don't have time to listen to them all so I'm just wondering, which are the stand-out albums?

I know they're a bit 'cock-rock', but they're tons of fun and some songs are just rockin!

Was it good? I'm watching the live DVD they put out a couple of years back, not too shabby considering they're not youngsters anymore.

  • I saw them in 2007 and the only thing I was disappointed with was that the set seemed rather short, I think only 17 songs

They should come out with a greatest hits album, if they haven't already.... ;)

    Wish you were here...

  • The first four albums rock. From 1974-1979 Aerosmith was the down and dirtiest American band. Most consider Toys in the Attic to be their masterpiece, followed by Rocks. I would start there, then the first one (Mama Kin!) and the second.

Yeah, it was. Of course I was 17 at the time and my first show so of course it was mind-blowing. Haha. Skid Row opened, I remember that.

My favourite Aerosmith album is Honking On Bobo ... it's a collection of dirty blues covers .... a great party album.Worth checking out

Saw this band in 1977.They were fucked up on stage,(drugs ,booze or what have you).
    Great show though.
    First four albums are fantastic.
Tyler and Perry weren't called the "toxic twins" for nothing.

One of my favourite concert moments ever was seeing Aerosmith walk onstage, and open the show with:

    HELTER SKELTER!!

At the time, I had no idea they covered it. Sheer fucking bliss.
