SOURCE: 2 AM curfew saturday night

So a friend of mine is a security guard for all the south philly complex concerts and he's working the Saturday PJ show at the Spectrum. Usually, he says, they hold him an hour after curfew (as 11 PM is the usual curfew, he's usually required to stay at the arena until midnight). He was told by his superior that the staff will need to stay until 3 AM on Saturday night/early sunday morning!! He has taken this to mean a 2 AM curfew for the final spectrum show. For all you lucky bastards going saturday night, this is a good indication that some serious jamming (pun intended) will be going down throughout the night this Halloween. I've never been more jealous/envious.

    Let's hope so! I can't imagine they will play past 12:30am, but I would love a long gig.

    I just got a text from my buddy at the show right now and he said, "Eddie just announced that they will be playing until 2 a.m. Saturday night!!! So excited I have tickets!!

    Yup, Ed announced it tonight that they'd be playing til 2am on Saturday. He also said that over the course of these 4 nights they'd try to play almost every PJ song there is, plus a few we've never heard

    It probably has something to do with the baseball game that night. It's hard to have a curfew in that situation, 14 inning games and such. Just a thought.

    2 different security guards confirmed the 2am rumor before Ed spoke of it. They were officially told to expect the concert on Saturday to go until 1:30 - 2:00 am. One security guy told me he was told Bruce and Bon Jovi would be special guests.

    Tonight's show was just incredible. I really can't imagine how they will top it each night, yet I believe they have a plan to do just that. Wow!

    Halloween is my favorite holiday and I opted to fly back home that morning so I could pass out candy. I will be at the show tonight (10/28) and also 10/30, but now I wish I could give back my tickets for those 2 nights, change my airfare and attend 10/31. Sounds like an extra kick-ass time. Hope everyone enjoys, looking forward to hearing about it.

    Who knows, maybe there will be an extended acoustic set. In all likelihood however, there will be a guest or two. I personally would enjoy Bruce or Bon Jovi, more for the experience than anything else. If the show really does play that long it's not like Bruce or Bon Jovi will be taking away time from Pearl Jam.
