So are we all possibly believing that this Saturday 3 am thing could be true????? Thoughts???

    a 6 hour show ?

    that is hard to believe

who is saying a 6 hour show? the staff has to be there for a couple of hours after the show im sure, so we would be looking at a 4 hour show. do the math.

and i think 3 to 4 hours is very realistic IMO.

In all honesty I have no idea what the 3am rumor is...thought it was about the band...oh well

I'm definitely believing that it will be past 1am now...Idk about 3. Maybe they keep the workers on till 3 to clean up? Or are we talking about merchants and ticket ushers?

    whoa whoa... hold on.

I used to work arena concerts in NYC & NJ and I would routinely supervise load-outs for the promoter. 3am is not unusual.

Most arena shows that play until 11pm load-out until 2am or so. I'll guess that PJ may play until 11:30pm or so.

Ushers are probably gone by 11:30pm or so. Same with most staff. Stagehands, loaders and a few security guards will stay thru most of load-out.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Very good call, that does make quite a bit of sense. Agreed there is no way a 6 hour show would take place, but in order for them to pull of a 3+ hour show, they would have to have the building staff be there longer than normal, just in order to perform their usual closing-up-shop duties. And lets not forget, security will have to work a bit harder than usual getting people to clear out of the Spectrum for the LAST TIME EVER. I can already imagine people trying to steal memorabilia from the arena (seats, signage, anything they can get their hands on!).

right. she said that the ushers are all saying that they are required to stay till 3am on sat. the ushers are saying this...... so.. whatever, i'm not going to get into a pissing match here for repeating something that someone 500 miles away from me was told by ushers working the show.

Surely the only way the show will last until 3 is if they don't go onstage until midnight?! All this talk of special guests, who's to say they won't play a short set of their own before PJ? Just a thought...
