Backspacer - The Game

Okay so it's not the most original idea, but I thought it might be a bit of fun.

Basically, each song on the album starts off with a value. Each person then adds one point for one of their favourite songs and deducts one point from one of their least favourites. When a song reaches zero, it's eliminated until eventually there's a winner. Sometimes the result is not as obvious as you'd think. The longer it goes on, the more difficult it becomes to choose! You can only vote once per day and change the values on two songs (one favourite, one least favourite). Get it? Hope so!

Each song will be starting with 15 points and I get to go first 'cos it's my thread! ;)

Gonna See My Friend 15
Got Some 15
The Fixer 15
Johnny Guitar 15
Just Breathe 15
Amongst The Waves 15
Unthought Known 15
Supersonic 15
Speed Of Sound 15
Force Of Nature 15
The End 15

Then m votes are:

Gonna See My Friend 15
Got Some 15
The Fixer 15
Johnny Guitar 15
Just Breathe 15
Amongst The Waves 16 (+1)
Unthought Known 15
Supersonic 15
Speed Of Sound 14 (-1)
Force Of Nature 15
The End 15
It's gonna be a glorious day...

  • Oh cool, sounds interesting!

    I vote

Is my layout correct? It's easy to copy+paste all of the songs and then add your changes, if everyone does it this way I think it'll be convenient
This is, this is ... my ... last exit.

looks like speed of sound is proving to be the most unpopular?
It's not that I DON"T like it, it's just the one that I skip (if any)....

This is tough because I'm torn between boosting some of the songs and voting my absolute favourite/least favourite. How no one has voted negative on Johnny Guitar yet is beyond me...

Are you all joking!!! Johnny Guitar is AWESOME - in fact today it is my fav!!! How can you not like the lyric: Riding on three wheels, a woman on his knee...with a leg under a red dress, I wish I could see, further north, a warmth alive and lingering...... 8-)

AS I said, it;s tough. I don't mind Johnny Guitar, but it has to be my least favourite backspacer song.

Funny thing is that lyric was playing as I posted.

That;s quite a sexually explicit lyric, particularly for PJ, although maybe I have misinterpreted....

30 yr wait, hey......looks like you are just livin' in the wrong country - if you were livin' over here, well, you would probably see more of the 'north' and then you'd get where Ed was comin' from, and Johnny Guitar would be higher on your list.......hehehe..... ;):D8-)
