Need I-Pod HELP!!!!!

So I downloaded a new anti-virus software that my computer buddy recomended b/c its free and it WIPED OUT MY I-POD SONG LIST!! So now I only have the songs that r actually ON the I-pod.
So, I have a new I-pod also right....
MY QUESTION...
How do I get the songs off the old I-pod and onto the new I-pod?
AND, Can get the old list from my computer back???

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    yeah you need a third party program to be able to get songs from your ipod back to your computer. just make sure they do not wipe out your ipod

    good luck, the one complaint I have about ipods no reverse loading, my Dell jukebox did it....ahh the old days

    I'm not a fan of iTunes and the precarious way it manages your songs. I don't use it at all except to download software updates to my iphone. Besides, it doesn't work real well in Linux.
