Philly: Share rides/rooms & save the money for drinks!

I thought we could use this post to find people to share rides to and from the pre/post-parties or to the venue; and also share rooms, especially who's traveling single or in small groups... you know, with this economy and all ;)

Keep in mind apparently the subway will be closed due to a strike. (see here: http://forums.pearljam.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=115760). And cabs are expensive!

I'm coming from Denver on the 31st for the last show, and I'm leaving the next afternoon..
I guess I'll stay at some hostel, but the closest one to the Spectrum is about 5 miles away...

What do you guys think?

    If you have a room for 2, do u think the hotel could find out if you had some ppl sleep on the floor in sleeping bags? i need to fit like 6 :oops:

    Bump looking for a room to share for friday through sunday. Might hop on a plane friday with enough money for 2 tickets and booze.

    I'm gonna stay at the Apple Hostel (http://www.applehostels.com/). I know one person who's already there, another one going also on the 31st, and at least a couple staying at a hotel nearby.

    The rate is about $35/night for a shared dorm, which is not bad.. and with all the people staying there and nearby, we'll be definitely sharing cabs, so there you go...

    I'm going to NYC on sunday sometime in the afternoon..
    I know its about $15 for a Greyhound, I don't know about Amtrak.. but depending on how much it is, I'm in..

    well its not $12. i was going to take that 2am greyhound but that wont work either.

    and i dont have a hotel so i was thinking i'd leave right after the show and go back to the city-
    your staying over night?

    Yeah I'm staying overnight because I have to be in NYC after 6pm...

    I'd be interested in either sharing a ride back to NYC tonight (10/30), or a splitting a hotel tonight. It'd be me and my girlfriend. Can anyone throw us a bone? Shoot me a PM

    (after Satrurdays show).
    Split the travel costs ( gas and tolls )
    no cigarette smokers. yuck .
    akso have 1 extra 10C ticket for the show, for face, # 205xxx.
    I havent won any lotteries yet- so thats always a possibility.

    first night I was located in sec 215 row 1-
    excellent seats along the boards on Stone and Booms side.
    For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
