...yes they are pitchfrok darlings, but I love their album...one of my faves from '09...check them out

    it's a good album...i haven't listened to it enough to determine exactly how much i like it. the vocals remind me of another artist...i just can't place it...almost quasi-elvis costello at times??! i may have to borrow it from work and give it a proper listen :)

    whats the difference in character between a person liking a band because pitchfork likes them and hating a band because pitchfork like them?

    I gave this album a go and I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's okay i've heard much worse, but i just don't think it is anything special.

    Glad you are digging it though.

    Love their album. The music and lyrics seems to lack pretense. The singers voice is full of character, following the emotion of the lyrics and atmosphere of the music. I'm interested to see where they go from here and if there is growth going forward. But for one album, they nailed it. Definitely the best heartache album of 09.
