Ed to appear in miniseries "The People Speak"

I did a quick search here and didn't see a topic about this, so if there is one, forgive me and please point me in that direction. 
From my new Rolling Stone magazine (the one with Johnny Depp on the cover):
"Eddie Vedder, Bruce Springsteen and John Legend will appear in The People Speak, a TV miniseries based on Howard Zinn's 1980 book, A People's History of the United States. The singers will each record a song for the project. Shooting begins this month in Boston."
