Fair enough then! I like it.

Or were you referring to a different 'low' version as in low in mood like fake plastic trees or high and dry? If so I might like to hear that! To be honest it's hard to beat the original umbrella IMO, but then I'm the kind of person who loves Madonna's True Blue album, especially Live to Tell, Open Your Heart and Papa Don't Preach.

I just thought the Manics lend a very protective masculine solidarity to Umbrella. I've been listening thinking of a woman I once knew. I sent her that version yesterday.

The only thing stronger than male protectiveness is the female counterpoint; never so better expressed than by Massive Attack....

Anyway, I digress - where were we?

The version that All Time Low did is pretty good, I hadn't heard that one before. I prefer Biffy Clyro's take on it though:

    Ah, I see!

    Apologies, my mistake.

Will seek out the All Time Low version tout de suite :)

Just looked at the setlist for Philly 1. I think I might have to contact my bank manager in anticipation of the rest of the tour boots.

    Happy Days!
