You'd be surprised...to some it does.......I agree with you though.......would you pay more for a Klausen poster numbered 5/100 than one numbered 99/100? I think many would since Secret Serpents charges more for lower numbered posters...obviously not the same thing, but there is a mentality to it I suppose...

No. I am being a piece of art. I am not buying a signature. Or a number.

I agree with you there, for sure.....but I think some would take it into consideration...the artists' avenues for selling (Secret Serpents, for example) seem to feel the need to charge more for a lower numbered print....they were selling Klausen's Faith No More prints for $40 or $60, depending on the number range of the exact print....and not even allowing him to sell his own art on his own website at the time........

If you look at the bidding history- it is strange- two people kept bidding it up until the end.

lower numbers are genearlly better when it comes to collectables.

  • I think people may be driving the market price up with things like this. I just bought a Bonnaroo 08 poster for 10 bucks, only to have the same guy selling it to me, sell another one the next day for 127

it sounds to me like a BS auction, there's 2 more BH on eBay now, I'm pretty sure that those are going to end bellow $700, if those end bellow $700 we could think of the $1200 BH as a attempt of the seller to inflate the price to sell it for a little less soon.
