Now that I can agree with. There is nothing like mixing a bunch of sports fanatic assholes with music. Nothing against sports, but I hate when Ed gets a crowd going by talking about it. A concert just doesn't feel like the right time and place to me. Anyone agree?
  • ahahahaha. i love when the fools from Boston cant take it.

    can't take it?

you have no idea, 2004 was the end all be all, your beloved yankees CHOKED.

CHOKED like NO OTHER TEAM IS THE HISTORY OF MLB. Yes, that includes the Sox.
  • No, The yankees are going to the Series and the red Suxs are not ALIVE. Is that Pj related now? hahahahah
  • hahaha. Its 2009 man. Yankees in the world series and your SUXS are home crying. hhahahahahahahah
  • its gonna be a douche-a-palooza in philly this week

as opposed to the other 51 weeks of the year ?

The thing I like about the Yankees is they carry themselves with respect and dignity.

I've met plenty of Yankee fans that do the same.

The OP does not fit in with that group as evidenced by his taunting, sore winner, angry fu posts.

If that is too difficult to understand..... well then, that would explain why you don't know how to properly use the quote function.

    Enjoy your series.
  • I like your pic. Damn, i need that poster.
  • I never said fu or used any bad words. I just love when the yankees win and Boston is home playing golf. The Suxs are done. Old, tired and sad. Yankees in the series. see ya.
  • You didn't say FU but did fail to carry yourself with respect and dignity.

And you have given plenty evidence by taunting and being a sore winner.

    Peace.

yayyy!!! The Eff'n Skankees have bought their way in to the world series again!

The Skankees are just a reminder of what a fucking joke America's favorite pastime has become,.

    It's still baseball season?

Great, something to excited for and post that has nothing to do with Pearl Jam. 26 world series? Give me a break. You guys should be bored with this by now. Statistically the money New York spends on the roster can by a World series every few years.. Lets see how many world series the Yankees win if they cut their salaries in half.

Being a WHITE Sox fan myself, I know our team has some money to throw around as well, although not as much and with less success, but I find the series MUCH more passionate and exciting when the little guy is in it like Tampa Bay.
  • Ha! I'm gonna feel much safer wearing my Mets stuff in Philly this week!

I visited NY last May, as a tourist I went to the new Yakee stadion, Yankees - Twins. I didnt get the game at all, what is so great with adult men hitting a ball with a bat? There was a couple of homeruns but. No, we went back to the hotel after the 10th inning, the game was going on for three more I think. I think NHL is more fun, but thats just me.

You are ABSOLUTELY correct. No team, and i do mean NO team, can do what the Yankees did this off-season. And thats to sign two #1 Starters, a #3 HITTER, who happens to play gold glove caliber 1st base, in one winter. Those contracts were well OVER $400 MIL!! Yea, i know it took scouting GENIOUS' to sign those type of players. Where would the Yankees be with No Sabathia, Burnett and Tiexera?

But, the thing of it is, MLB and TV, don't CARE!! Ther happy as hell, that the BIG market teams are in it, EVERY YEAR!! Don't you think if the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, the LA & Chicago teams, or any of the big market teams, not ONLY had 17 straight years of not makeing the PLAYOFFS, but 17 STRAIGHT LOSING SEASONS, that MLB and TV would do something about it? Go ask the fans in Pittsbugh what they think, because ther the ones who have gone through 17 STARIGHT losing seasons. I'm OLD enough to know, before the current system, that the Pirates were a POWERHOUSE. I still have ALOT of years to live,(I HOPE>), but i will NEVER see the Pirates win another World Series in my lifetime. Hell, the Pirates MAY never make the playoffs again, and whats so competitve when teams(not just the Pirates), have NO shot at wining?
