Is this going to mess with the Pearl Jam shows
Forgive me for not knowing but when is the WS starting and what games would they be up to by the end of the week?

game 3 in philly is the only world series game that would the same day that a pearl jam show is.
    That's halloween night.
That's all u have to worry about ;)
  • LEAVE EARLY... Traffic is going to be a nightmare. But as long as you aren't walking around in Yankees (or Angels) stuff, you should be ok. Phillies fans are fun, and know how to tailgate!! :)
  • Oh great. Another thread about this.

unless there's extra innings, game should end around10-10:30 PJ ends at 11 usually, but then again it's the last show at the spectrum, expect a curfew break. so 11:30-12? i don't think you'll have to leave early

Nono, I meant leave wherever you are (hotel, home) early to get to the show... not leave the show early... that's just crazy talk! ;)

What time does the game start on saturday? 8ish? Playoff games are usually at least 3 hours, probably longer. 10-1030 is a little early for the game to end (assuming it starts around 8), i doubt it would end before 11. Could be a perfect storm of both events ending at the same time

well regular season games usually start at 7, and cause it may end up east coast vs. east coast they may just settle with 7:00 cause they really don't have to deal with timezones for the broadcast
  • Fox.com states the game starts at 7:30 PM.

TV rules the sports world so it is extremely doubtful they would adjust the game time. Game should be over by 11 PM barring weather delays.

Depending on the status of the series - especially if Phillies win and happen to be up 3-0 after the game (highly doubtful, IMO) - we could have some traffic issues with post-game revelry.

World Series games start 8:15 or so at the earliest but usually like 8:30.

Baseball game should end well after the concert unless PJ pulls a Bruce and plays till 11:45. (I hope they do.)

It won't be that much of a nightmare down there. I went to the Who concert across the street when Game 4 of the World Series happened last year and had no problems getting in and out.
