this thread was meant more for Pearl Jam at The Spectrum comradery ,
in the City Of Brotherly Love,
but inevitably someone dispersed team allegiances and our city is better than your city mentality,.., ect, ....
this isnt about philllies and or yankees alltho it is nice that this may indeed be happening at the same time ,

its all about the Jam closing down this iconic musicial arena,
what better way to conclude an already very rich history storybook
than with a 4 night stand at the old barn.

Just got back from the open house there. It was pretty cool to walk on a stage they had set up and walk along the floor and take pictures.

But one thing I found odd:

    http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a255/ ... CF2192.jpg

There were 6 boxes of unopened what appears to be Bruce Springsteen t shirts behind the glass at one of the closed merchandise booths. Either his production team forgot them or maybe he's showing up next weekend.

    Yankees suck
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

    great find,
however those are likely going to either

1 ) wind up on a truck being shipped up to Buffalo for the tour closer, or :

2 ) they'll wind up going back to what used to be " fanfire.com " which was the official store of not only Bruce but many other artists. This is now owned and run by Live Nation . check www.fanfire.com .

not to say he wont show up or not,.....
just dont think theyd break out any Bruce merchandise at a PJ show ,
he has too much respect for the boys for that shit .

You're probably right about the merch, but I think he will be showing up. I talked to the security guards outside and asked them if the Bruce Banner is still up on the other side of the Spectrum (I went in on the PJ side) and they said yep and it will be up until the last show and both banners will probably be auctioned off on ebay a few weeks afterwards.

And Philly radio is saying a special guest that they can't name will be appearing at the last show with Pearl Jam.
