for a second i thought you were talking about their follow up and was shocked that i missed any news about it..but yeah the album is awesome. Hearing plant do harmonies with someone with as great a voice as alison krauss is superb music to my ears. Pick up the album if you don't have.

yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

I absolutely love the album! it's.. pretty much perfect.

I hadn't heard anything of Kraus' before this and her voice blew me away. one of my favourite moments on the album though, is the word "there" on the second verse of Polly Come Home. (in "I searched for you there") I'm not sure why, just the way Plant sounds during that.. awesome!

It is a fantastic album. I saw them play a year ago and it was amazing. Plant has probably the best stage prescence of anyone I've ever seen. Krauss looked nervous, but her voice is amazing. Really great album and I'm looking forward to the follow up.

I honestly only liked Gone, Gone, Gone. The rest bored me to tears.

If you hadn't heard anything from Kraus before that album, you might want to check out her song "When You Say Nothing At All". That's the only other one I know of hers. popular wedding song.

It is really good. I like "Rich Woman" and "fortune teller", but then I like everyone's version of that...and I'd love to see PJ cover that with Mike singing it! :D

Yeah, that's the only song I knew of hers and, not surprisingly, it was played at my wedding.

Krauss had done a lot of fine stuff with Union Station before the album with Plant. A lot of people first heard of her through the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.

Got to see her and Plant perform at ACL fest last year and really enjoyed their set. The next day Gillian Welch was onstage and Krauss came out for a duet of this song:

I've since listened to her stuff quite a bit (I LOVE the live album with Union Station) and to be honest, When You Say Nothing At All is one of my least favourite songs. but I kind of blame Ronan Keating for that.
