Much love to this great, great song. It took a few listens, but it's probably the best from the record next to Johnny Guitar.

And how about Mike finding a knack for ending albums with rad songs!..1/2 full, Inside job, force of nature..

    Love Speed of Sound.

    There is a huge debate about which is better the album track or the demo.

    I am up in the air on this one. But I would have side with the demo if I had been fortunate enough to hear EV sign it on the solo tour.

    But in the end a great fucking song.

    The whole album is great.

    My 4 year old son love Force of Nature.

    I love this song too. The album cut is soooo much better; Ed's voice is too shaky in the demo IMO

    Great ending, I scream it out every time. Then hit repeat and do it all over again.

    Listen to SOS on my CD player while driving the other day and once I made it to the gym I pulled out my iPod for the walk and hit play and........

    Speed of Sound was going on that too.

    The ending is awesome. Beautiful poetry.

    I am hoping they are getting this one ready for philly, cause for the life of me cannot understand why they aren't playing this gem live! :?:

    I totally agree with you, Speed of Sound is brilliant.

    (But, let me be the first to point out, Jeff wrote Half Full - not Mike.)

    I really hope we hear SOS in Australia.
