    Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

    i guess to boil it down when you have some type structure with 'elites' it eventually fails because they get so carried away with their greed and doing questionable/bad things for their own gain despite the consequences for everyone else and types of political systems, Aristotle's idea/system of removing inequality, Madison's idea/system of marginalizing the majority for the powerful minority, the use of the PR industry to manage the society for their own interests, both parties view it that way "the public must be kept at their status as spectators, not participants", corporate crime/greed/profit over people, keeping us occupied with superficial aspects of life instead of what's going on, things reported in the business press like in august business week having on the cover the health care industry won (in regards to health reform legislation) the health insurance industry pretty much wrote the bill, polls show for decades the majority wants some type of universal system, prices are twice as high for care/drugs than anywhere else in the industrialized world and the only government bared by law from using it's power to negotiate prices, Obama giving in to the pharmaceutical industry by agreeing to drop negotiating prices and importing drugs, ignoring the will of the people........and much more! :)
