Halloween Scheduling nightmare - new rumor

Anybody hear about talks of The Spectrum trying to get PJ to play an afternoon set and then a midnight set to allow for Game 3 of the World Series. I just read on another board that someone heard this on a Philly radio station to try and avoid the obvious clusterfuck that is gonna happen next sat. Don't forget the Flyers at 1 Just another weekend in South Philly with 75,000 of our closest friends.

    ridiculous. won't happen. as people mentioned in another thread the amount of people at the flyers game (20k), PJ (20k), and the phillies game (45k) is approximately equal to that of an Eagles game (80k?).

    yes there will be traffic, but it won't be the apocolypse.

    There shouldn't be a problem at all if they keep the concert the time it's scheduled for. I was in Philly last year for the Who concert @ the Wachovia Center on the same day as an Eagles home game (1:00) and a Phillies World Series game (8:00). The Spectrum is in the same complex as the other 3 venues. There was plenty of parking and it really wasn't too much of a hassle leaving either because the concert ended about 20 minutes before the baseball game. Needless to say Pete and Roger tore it up that night.
