Just watched a bit of the news and Nick Griffiths leader of the BNP is going on Question Time. Quite surprised as as far as I know it's the first time the BNP have been on a political discussion programme. There are protesters outside the BBC but I think he's made it in.
Bit torn, with freedom of speech, shouldn't we allow him to go on the program say his bit then hopefully get lots of flack and be shown from the racist bastard that he is. Or is by putting him on telly now saying that what he stands for is acceptable?
Any thoughts?
Edit: Nick Griffiths once denied that the Holocaust had happened, likening the belief in it to believing that the world was flat. Can't remember the quote exactly. BNP is British National Party.

I know how you feel in 'right to free speech' but shit! everytime he speaks there always seems to be a 'spike' in racially motivated attacks. People like him make me sick and truly stop the human race from progression.
The problem will be that by allowing him on this show will some how 'validate' his party and beliefs.
I know, he comes accross as this ordinary 'respectable' person and the BNP have really been pushing the 'we are just being patriotic' line at the moment. Recording the programme, so will try and watch tommorrow, will be interesting to see how the audience responds.
Sorry Bobzie
That's o.k. Just don't do it again!
