Hi everyone! Husband and I are flying in from Lexington, KY to attend Philly shows on 10/28 and 10/30. This will be our 15th and 16th time seeing the best band ever! Can any locals tell me the best way to get from the Spectrum back to our hotel (Penn's View Hotel)? Is the bus still running at a late hour?

Can't wait! Hope to see many of you there. Have a safe and fun time :)

Actually the easiest thing to do is take the subway/train. Just so happens that you'll be staying very near the Penns Landing Station of the Market East Line (this runs straight East/West in the city). All you have to do is take that straight into the middle of town (a very quick ride) and then get off at City Hall Station, then hop on the Broad Street Line, which runs North/South. You'll of course want to head south to Pattison Station, which is literally right outside of the Spectrum and the rest of the sports complexes in South Philly. That is no doubt your best bet! :D

    High all,
There is a transportation strike set for next week. Nothing is set in stone but, you may want to keep an eye on it if you plan on relying on public transportation. The following is a local news web page to help out.

or the SEPTA page in previous post.
