First time I ever heard elliotts music was Needle In The Hay in the Royal Tenenbaums movie a few years ago, I loved the song so I looked it up and then got really into him.

I had no idea it just was the anniversary of his death. me just getting into him would be creepy.. but I actually asked someone to recommend some new stuff for me and he said "Elliott Smith".
