The Fixer is still holding in there..

I noticed it moved up a spot this week on Billboard from #6 to #5..
Nice to see 3 months later it still has staying power amongst popular music.

Well, the album is slipping... I heard it was down from #16 in Week 3 to #23 in Week 4 (approximately 20,000 sold this past week).
And to clarify, the song charts have nothing to do with sales. Those rankings represent radio airplay. So in other words, "The Fixer" still ranks 6th in airplay on this week's alternative, mainstream rock and triple A radio stations (aka the "Rock" category).
I'm still not convinced that "Just Breathe" is the answer. I feel it's just too soft. Maybe "Unthought Known" could hit more genres? Plus, a Letterman visit and an SNL appearance would be a nice little wave of marketing.

If it makes you feel any more discouraged, I'm a junior in college, and its the same thing. Only there are more people who like other GOOD music, and not the high school morons in love with Fall Out Boy, Creed, etc.
